New development of a slidelock assembly for flexible size adjustment of the helmet wearing system. The two side components can be pressed together with the thumb and index finger so that the size can be individually adjusted. The locking hook with a slight undercut reliably holds the desired position. The aim of the project was rapid implementation and a focus on low weight. We first tested different ideas using prototyping methods and then decided on the most ergonomically suitable one.
