Claudio, Reto and Johannes decided during their studies that mobile food preparation with the long queues in front of the few microwaves at the university was inadequate. This gave rise to the business idea and the Steasy mobile mini steamer, which is now a successful product on the market. In collaboration with Claudio, we were tasked with implementing the mechanical development until a first working prototype was available. There were a few challenges to overcome: The high pressure inside, for example, which must not deform the parts so that the container leaks. Or the lever mechanism that ensures a transport and a working position and holds the box together.
